Coupon Creation (Woocommerce)
1. Types of WooCommerce Coupons
WooCommerce supports four main types:
Percentage Discount: e.g., 20% off
the entire cart.
Fixed Cart Discount: e.g., €10 off
the total order.
Fixed Product Discount: e.g., €5
off specific products.
Free Shipping: Removes shipping
costs when conditions are met.
2. Steps to Create a Coupon
Navigate to Marketing → Coupons → Add New Coupon
Enter Coupon Code
Create your own or click Generate coupon code.
Add Description
(optional, for
internal use).
Configure Coupon Data
General Tab
Discount type (percentage, fixed cart, fixed product).
Coupon amount (e.g., 10 for 10% or €10).
Enable Free Shipping if needed.
Set Expiration Date.
Usage Restrictions
Minimum/maximum spend.
Individual use only (cannot combine with other coupons).
Exclude sale items.
Include/exclude products, categories, or brands.
Restrict by customer email (wildcards allowed,
e.g., *@gmail.com).
Usage Limits
Limit per coupon (total uses).
Limit per user.
Limit to X items (if product-specific).
Click Publish.
